Overview
The Map View section provides a comprehensive, interactive map interface for tracking jobs within a specified date range. This feature enhances visibility and improves job management by allowing easy visualization of job locations and schedules on a larger, scrollable Google Map.
When accessing the Map View, you will see pins (markers) on the map representing jobs scheduled within the selected date range. This interface allows you to effortlessly monitor job locations, assignments, and schedules for optimal task management.
Access to job records in this section varies according to user role:
Admin and Support users have access to view all jobs in the system.
Crew users can only view jobs assigned to their own crew.
Job Markers
By clicking on a job marker, you can view essential details, including:
- Property Address and Photo: Displays the location and an associated image of the property.
- Assigned Crew: Shows which crew is responsible for the job.
- Start and End Date: Indicates the scheduled timeframe for the job.
If multiple jobs are scheduled at the same address during the same time range, the marker will provide a list showing the job names and the crews assigned to each.
Searching and Filtering Jobs
The Map View offers robust search and filter functionalities to help you quickly locate specific jobs.
Quick Search
- Use the search bar at the top of the map to find jobs by name.
- As you type, the map will highlight the marker for the job matching your query.
- If no jobs match your search, a message will appear stating: "No jobs matching your filter criteria."
Advanced Filtering
- Pre-selected Dates: Choose from commonly used date ranges.
- Custom Dates: Select your own start and end dates for a tailored search.
- After selecting a date range, click "Apply". The map will update to display jobs scheduled within those dates.
- Use the Jobs Dropdown to select a specific job, or the Crews Dropdown to filter jobs by crew assignment.
These features ensure efficient navigation and management of job assignments, especially when handling multiple crews or a high volume of jobs.
