Overview
The Crew Management section allows administrators to effectively manage crew teams within the system. This interface provides access to view existing crews, add new crews, edit crew information, and manage crew members.
Crew Dashboard
The Crew Dashboard serves as the main interface for managing crews. It offers key functionalities such as listing existing crews, adding new crews, editing crew information, and deleting crews. In this dashboard, you will be able to see essential information for each crew, including:
Crew name
Description...
Crew members
The dashboard also provides advanced search and filter capabilities. From this central interface, you can access all the main crew management features:
Adding a New Crew
To add a new crew to your account, you will see a form containing several fields. Required fields include: Crew Name and Calendar Color. An optional Description field is also available, and you must add at least one team member to the crew. There must be a crew lead assigned in every crew; the first member added will automatically be assigned as the Crew Lead, but this can be changed later if needed.
Click the "New Crew" blue button at the top right of the Crew Dashboard.
Fill out the required fields in the form
In the 'Members' section, add team members to the crew.
Click "Add Crew" to create the new crew.
Editing Crew Information
Upon selecting the crew's name, you will be directed to the Crew Details interface, where the main sections will be displayed, including: Crew Name, Description, Members, and Availability.
4.1. Crew Name
In this section you can change the name of the crew.
Modify the color assigned to the calendar using the dropdown menu next to the crew name for efficient visual identification of crews.
4.2 Description
Although optional, the description is an excellent aid for quickly identifying the services offered by the crew or other important information.
4.3 Members
In this section, you can add or remove crew members as needed.
To add a crew member, click on the "Add Crew Member" button.
To remove a crew member, click on the trash icon next to their name. The delete option is disabled if the crew is assigned to jobs or is the only crew in the account.
You can change the crew lead by clicking on the circle icon next to a crew member's name.
Use the search field to efficiently locate and select members to include as crew members.
4.4 Availability
In this section you can see the schedule of the crew and their availability.
By clicking on "View availability settings," you will be directed to availability features where you can: Add, remove, or edit the general schedule of the crew and exceptions to the schedule as well.
Remember to confirm your choices by clicking the "Save" button after making any changes.
Deleting a Crew
To delete a crew from your account, follow these steps:
Select the crew's name from the Crew Dashboard.
Click on the "Delete" button in the top right corner.
Confirm your selection when prompted
The delete option for a crew will be disabled if the crew is assigned to one or more jobs or if it is the only crew for the account.
Crew Search
The Crew Dashboard offers search and filter functionalities to help you manage your crews efficiently:
Quick Search:
Use the search bar to quickly find the name of a specific crew.
Advanced Filtering:
In the filter section, you can select any crew member to display all the crews that the chosen member belongs to.
To clear all filters at once, press the "Reset" option.
These features enable easy navigation and management of your crews, particularly when handling a large number of crew members.
