Overview

The Service Management section allows service providers to effectively manage service items that can be included in estimates or invoices. This area provides functionalities to add, update, disable, and delete service items, with deletion restricted to items not linked to any estimate or invoice.

Services Dashboard

The Services Dashboard serves as the main interface for managing your services. It offers key functionalities such as adding, editing, and deleting services, as well as searching and filtering capabilities.


 

The dashboard displays a comprehensive list of your services, including details such as:

  • SKU: Unique identifier for the service item.

  • Service: Identifying name for the service item.

  • Cost Per Hour: Hourly rate for the service.

  • Taxable: Indicate if the item is subject to tax.

  • Show Online Booking: Determine if the item should appear on the online booking form.

  • In Use: Specify if the item is currently used in estimates or invoices.

  • Actions: Edit and Delete options.

You can toggle between active and disabled services by clicking the respective buttons on the dashboard.

 


 

 

1. Adding a New Service

To add a new service to your account, you will be presented with a form containing several fields. Required fields include: SKU, Name and Cost Per Hour. An optional Description field is also available, and you must select additional parameters for the service, such as: Taxable, Show Online Booking, and In Use.
 

  • Click the "+ New Service"  blue button at the top right of the Services Dashboard.


 

  • Fill out the required fields in the form.


 

  • Select additional parameters by clicking the icon next to each option (Taxable, Show Online Booking, In Use).

  • Click "Add Service" to create the new service item.

 

The "Edit Service" and "Add New Service" functions operate similarly. Ensure you accurately complete all required fields before clicking either "Add Service" or "Apply Changes" respectively



 

2. Editing Service Information

Using the edit interface, you can modify fields as needed. Once you've made the desired changes, you can save the updated information.


 

  • Locate the service in the list on the Service Dashboard.

  • Click on “Actions” (the three-dot button), and you will see options to Edit and Delete.

  • Modify the necessary fields in the edit interface.

  • Click "Apply Changes" to save the updated information.

 

 

3. Deleting Services

To delete a service, follow these steps:

  • Locate the service in the dashboard.

  • Go to the Actions column.

  • Click on the three-dot menu button.

  • Press the Delete option with the trash can icon.

  • The service will be moved to the Disabled section.
     

 

  • You can also access the Edit Product interface by clicking on the Edit option.

  • At the top of the window, you'll see the Delete option with the trash can icon.

After this initial deletion, the service will be moved to the Disabled section. From there, you have two options:


 

3.2. Restoring a Deleted Service

If you change your mind and want to restore the service:
 

  • Navigate to the Disabled section.

  • Find the service you wish to restore.

 

  • Click on “Actions”, and you will see options to Edit, Undo, and Delete. 

  • Click the "Undo" button next to the service.
     

3.1. Permanently Deleting the Service
 

  • Go to the Disabled section by clicking on the Disable button.

  • Search for the service you want to remove.

 

  • Click on Actions, then Delete, confirm the action and the service will be permanently removed.

     

This process allows you to safely manage your services, giving you the flexibility to disable them temporarily before deciding whether to permanently delete or restore them. Deletion may only occur if the service item is not linked to an estimate or invoice.

 

The Services Dashboard offers search and filter functionalities to help you manage your products efficiently:


 

4.1. Quick Search:

  • Use the search bar to find services by SKU or name.


 

4.2. Advanced Filtering:
 

  • Click the "Filter" button for more detailed search options.

  • Select specific characteristics to filter services, such as: Taxable, Online Booking and In Use.
