Overview
The Availability Management section allows service providers to specify service availability globally or on a per-crew basis. This area provides functionalities to set up schedules, add time slots, and manage exceptions for service availability.
Availability Dashboard
The Availability Dashboard serves as the main interface for managing your global and crew availability. It offers key functionalities such as setting global or crew-specific schedules, adding time slots, and managing exceptions.
The dashboard presents a comprehensive overview of availability options, including the following categories:
Global availability.
Per Crew availability.
General Schedule.
Crew Schedule.
Exceptions.
From this central interface, you can access all the main availability management features, allowing you to efficiently manage and optimize your workforce availability. You can easily switch between global and crew-specific settings, set up recurring schedules, and handle any exceptions that may arise.
1. Setting Availability
To set availability for your services:
Choose between "Global" or "Per Crew" on the Availability Dashboard.
If selecting "Per Crew," choose the desired crew from the dropdown menu in the toggle bar.
2. Managing Schedules
2.1. Global Schedule:
Under "General Schedule," you can add up to 2 non-overlapping time slots per day.
To enable or disable a workday, click the toggle switch next to the day.
2.2. Crew Schedule:
Navigate to the "Per Crew" section next to the "Global" tab.
Select the specific crew from the dropdown bar.
Add up to 2 non-overlapping time slots per day.
Enable or disable days by clicking the toggle switch.
If a crew-specific time slot falls outside the bounds of global availability time slots, a warning will be displayed.
3. Adding Time Slots
For both Global and Per Crew schedules:
Click on the desired day.
Set the start and end times for each slot.
Ensure the slots do not overlap.
4. Managing Exceptions
Exceptions are dates or seasons when the service will be unavailable. You can set exceptions in both Global and Per Crew views.
To add an exception:
Click the "+ Add" icon next to "Exceptions.".
Choose from:
By Day Range: Select "From" and "To" dates.
By Month: Select the month when services will be unavailable.
By Season: Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall.
Click the blue "Create Exception" button to save your changes.
This structure allows for efficient management of service availability, ensuring flexibility for both global and crew-specific scheduling needs.
